While I don’t eat that much processed foods lately, preferring to make things from scratch, tortillas are another story.
I’ve tried. And, tried, and tried, and tried. Well, you get the point. And, while they were OK, they tasted more like pita bread, which is all fine, but not what I was looking for.
Having so many food sensitivities, including to almonds, many of the recipes or store-made ones out there I still can’t eat.
Then I found Siete tortillas. I can only get them in Whole Foods, but I stock up and am in love with them. They make several varieties, but the cassava and coconut ones I can eat without a problem. These are gluten-free and paleo.
And, the taste? They are very similar to a mix between a flour and corn tortilla. They are delicious. I use them as soft tacos, for breakfast wraps and even bake them to make tortilla chips.
Below are just some of the way I use them. By the way, this is not a sponsored post. I’m writing about them, because I truly like them and they have allowed me to enjoy some of the foods I really miss, like chips and salsa, without getting sick!
Hope you like them as much as I do.
