You guys!!! I finally found it! So Delicious cashew milk ice cream. I have been reading about it, and seeing it everywhere, except near me.
The other day I finally found it. And, they had the flavor I wanted to try — salted caramel cluster. The only problem? It was about 3 hours away from my house. Challenge accepted.
Luckily, I had my green purse cooler with me, so I decided to try transporting vegan, gluten-free ice cream 3 hours.
I put a layer of ice in the cooler, added the ice cream and then loaded it with more ice. Almost two bags to be exact.
For the most part it stayed pretty well, but just in case it didn’t, I stopped at a rest area about half way into my drive, opened the ice cream and tried it. Oh my gosh, it is was delicious!
It was creamy, flavorful – and had the right amount of cluster. I doubt someone could tell the difference between this and “regular” ice cream. While I like the coconut-based ice creams, they do have a different flavor. This, however you would never know it was cashew milk, and not “regular.” It totally lived up to the hype!
I did a little video blog when I got home about it. I was so excited to share it that I didn’t even realize I did it without makeup. But, I wasn’t going to redo it, so you’ll have to deal with my blemishes! The only problem, is that when I uploaded it from my phone to YouTube, it cut off the end somehow. And, since it’s days later, I really can’t redo it. You’ll get the idea.
