Welcome to Life’s Always An Adventure!

For those of you who don’t know me, let me introduce myself.

I am Michelle Maskaly. You can read more about me on the “About” page, but to give you a quick summary, I am a single, 30-something Jersey-born journalist who lives in the Adirondack Mountains of New York. I travel a good amount for work, am a vegetarian who has a gluten sensitivity and is mostly vegan, has two dogs who are my world and is always chasing a new adventure.

For those of you who know me, yes, I started a new blog, yes, another project, yes another thing for you to follow/like. My apologies.

Maybe, I should explain that a little more for you newcomers. I tend to always have a new “project.” The conversation usually goes like this, “So, I have this idea….” Those words are either said in a text message to my closest friends, or over dinner with a sorority sister. It’s a bit of a problem. But, it is what makes me, well, me.

I already have two other blogs and a professional site. My Tail Hurts From Wagging So Much is my pet lifestyle website and The Adirondack Chick is my lifestyle blog that was supposed to talk about my life in the Adirondacks. While it is really hard to let that last blog go, (I am still afraid to pull the plug) it is just not who I am right now.

For the longest time, I felt it was a bit constricting, because while I live in the Adirondacks, it not solely what I want to write about. I want to write about life, my adventures, travel, while still sharing my love for the Adirondacks, but also talking about my canceled flight in Florida that left me stuck for an extra day, the best champagne in Paris and my new found love of curling — a true lifestyle blog.

So, what can you expect from Life’s Always An Adventure? A blog that mimics a conversation with your best friend — mostly written on-the-go from an iPhone. This blog is really a story about the random adventures that life throws your way — good, or bad. I hope you join me on this journey and we get to to know a little about each other.
